Nathan James Gleason...
Nathan James Gleason, 58, of Rowlett, TX passed away February 14, 2004 at the Lake Point Medical Center in Rowlett, TX. 
Mr. Gleason was born January 22, 1946 in Lufkin, TX to Joyce Montgomery and Johnny Millard Gleason. He served in the United States Army from 1967 - 1969 as a Medic. He considered it an honor. He was a member of the Centeral Baptist Church of Crandall, TX. He worked as a mechanic and retired from First Company of Dallas. He graduated from Crandall High in 1964 and attended the University of Texas in Arlington.
Services for Mr. Gleason were held Monday, February 16th, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Scott-Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Services were under the direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Gary Freimuth, Forney, TX; his mother, Joyce Gleason, Saint Jo, TX; two sisters, Roselyn Ware, Lewisville, TX and Lisa Rolison, Crandall, TX; two brothers, John Gleason, Saint Jo, TX and Jerry Gleason, Fort Belknap, TX; his beloved companion, May Glenn, Rowlett, TX; and several nieces and nephews. 

 

Allie Stephens...
Allie Stephens, age 92, of Bowie, TX passed away February 8, 2004 at her residence in Bowie, TX.
Mrs. Stephens was born in Brownwood, TX March 23, 1911. She was a homemaker.
Graveside services were held Sunday, February 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Stan Baker officiating, under the direction of Fry Funeral Home. 
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Edith Baker, Chico, TX; seven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; twenty great great grandchildren; three great great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. 

 

Beulah Mae Duck...
Beulah Mae Duck, age 96 of Nocona, TX passed away February 16, 2004 at the Nocona General Hospital.
Mrs. Duck was born March 27, 1907 to Ethel Artemis Plumlee and William Amos Morgan. She was married to William Herman Duck for forty-eight years. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club and the Quilting Club, both in Willow, OK. She was also a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Nocona, TX. 
Funeral services for Mrs. Duck were held Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Scott-Morris Funeral Chapel with Joe Don Elam, Rev. Charles Wylie and Rev. Jeff Cramer officiating. Interment was at Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Dorothy Newland, Nocona, TX, William Herman “Buster” Duck, Jr., Nocona, TX and Della Elam, Levelland, TX; eleven grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers included: her grandsons, Jerry Newland, Terry Newland, Richard Buck, Joe Don Elam, David Duck and Patrick Duck.

 

Nickolas Matthew Ryan Hinshaw...
Nickolas Matthew Ryan Hinshaw, infant, of Gainesville, TX passed away February 13, 2004 at the Gainesville Memorial Hospital. 
Nickolas Matthew Ryan Hinshaw was born February 13, 2004 to April Dawn Hinshaw. 
Graveside services were held Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nocona Cemetery with Great Uncle Garry Davis officiating. Services were under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his mother, April Hinshaw, Gainesville, TX; one brother, Tristin Hinshaw, Gainesville, TX; grandparents, Scharlene Hinshaw, and Carl and Katrina Hinshaw; great grandparents, Ruth Davis, and Harlan and Lee Hinshaw; one aunt, Jessica Caraway; and one uncle, Matt Caraway.

 

Edrie L. Liggett...
Edrie L. Liggett, age 92 of Bowie, TX passed away February 12, 2004 in Wichita Falls, TX.
Mrs. Liggett was born September 17, 1911 to H.D. and Dessie Sears Henson. She graduated Leona High School and married R. E. Liggett in October of 1932 in Waurika, OK. She was a member of First Baptist Church and belonged to the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Graveside services for Mrs. Liggett were held Saturday, February 14, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. with Shannon Eaton officiating, under the direction of White Family Funeral Home. 
Surviving relatives include: one son Robert Liggett and his wife, Margaret, Bowie, TX; four grandchildren and several great-grand children. 
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bowie.
