Gladys D. Flint...
     Gladys D. Flint, age 94, of Electra, Texas passed away Friday, March 19, 2004, in the Electra Healthcare Center.
     Mrs. Flint, the daughter of Sherman J. Rixford and Elsie Ann Appleby Rixford, was born April 25, 1909 in Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania and moved to Rising Star, Texas at the age of nine. She was living in Monahans, Texas when she met Dorsey Lee Flint. They were married on September 16, 1937 in Lovington, New Mexico and moved to Electra in 1937. They moved to Monahans from 1946 until 1956 when they returned to Electra. She was a homemaker throughout most of her life. After the death of her husband, on June 12, 1963, she began working for the Electra Nursing Home until her retirement. She was a Methodist.
     Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 21,2004, in the Electra Memorial Cemetery with Nathan Smith of Bible Baptist Church of Electra officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Electra.
     Survivors include: two daughters, Sally Moeller Electra, TX and Jimmie “Cissy” Lemons, Sunset, TX; one son, Dorsey “Butch” Flint, Jr., Electra, TX; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Arnold Frank Cieslak...
     Arnold Frank Cieslak, age 73, passed away March 20, 2004 in Bowie, TX.
     Mr. Cieslak was born February 25, 1931 in Chicago, IL. He married Wanda Lou Cieslak on December 18, 1968 in Crown Point, IN. They enjoyed traveling in their RV around the country.
     Memorial services for Mr. Cieslak will be held in Junction, TX for family and friends at a later date. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of White Family Funeral Home.
     Survivors include: his wife, Wanda Cieslak; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Ribbentrop, Junction, TX.
