Doris Jean Reed Hernandez, age 64 of Saint Jo, TX
passed away December 30, 2005 in the Nocona General Hospital in
Nocona, TX.
Mrs. Hernandez was born August 5, 1941 in Bonita, TX to
John Day “Cap” and Oleta Lough Reed. She married Jesus Hernandez. She
was an LVN and worked as a nurse all over the area for thirty years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hernandez were held Tuesday, January 3, 2006
at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Saint Jo, TX with C.E.
Cole officiating. Interment was at the Reed Cemetery under the
direction of Scott-Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Jesus “Chuy”
Hernandez, Saint Jo, TX; children, Terry Baker, Saint Jo, TX, Jerry
Montgomery, Gainesville, TX, Maria Hernadez, Saint Jo, TX, Angela
Hernandez/Sloop, Gainesville, TX, Ron Sloop, Gainesville, TX and
Michael Sloop, Bonham; eight grandchildren; step children, Hector,
Marina, Antonia, Mataldi, Esla, Hector, and Sergio Hernandez, all of
Old Mexico; and one brother, John Reed, Saint Jo, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one
brother, Jim Reed.
Honorary pallbearers include: the Saint Jo Volunteer
Fire Department.

Jack W. Allen, age 84 of Bowie, TX passed
away December 28, 2005 in Bowie, TX.
Mr. Allen was born November 29, 1921 in Montague, TX to
Robert Richard Allen Sr. and Clide Harper Allen. He married Juanita
Allen on April 20, 1948 in Monahans, TX. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Army a member of the V.F.W. Post 8789 and a DAV Life Time Member.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 31, 2005
at 2:00 p.m. at the Heritage Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Darrel Shaw officiating. Interment was at the Montague Cemetery under
the direction of the Heritage Family Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Juanita Allen, Bowie, TX; two
sons, Kenneth Allen, Bowie, TX and John Richard Allen, Chico, TX; six
daughters, Rebecca Posey, Archer City, TX, Frances Morgan, Bowie, TX,

August Joseph “Gus” Lutkenhaus...
August Joseph “Gus” Lutkenhaus, age 85 of Muenster, TX passed away
December 29, 2005.
Mr. Lutkenhaus was born March 18, 1920 in Gainesville, TX to George
and Mary Loeffelholz Lutkenhaus. He was raised and attended school in
Cooke County, living most of his life in and around Muenster. He
served in the US Army MP detachment during WWII. He married Armella
Flusche on November 21, 1944 in Muenster, TX. He was a member of
Sacred Heart Parish and was a farmer/rancher most of his life.
Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Lutkenhaus was held
Monday, January 2, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with
Rev. John Ohner, O.S.A., Rev. Ron Scheible, O.S.A. and Rev. Joe
Meledom officiated. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart Cemetery
under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Armella,
Muenster, TX; two daughters, Norma Kubicek, Valley View, TX and Doris
Muller, Muenster, TX; four sons, Walter and Dennis Lutkenhaus, both of
Lindsay, TX, Leo Lutkenhaus, Muenster, TX and Charles Lutkenhaus,
Mesa, AZ; twenty grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and one
great-great grandchild; three sisters, Irene Wilson, Gainesville, TX,
Lorene Sandmann, Valley View, TX and Pauline Sicking, Muenster, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and
Mary Lutkenhaus.

David Rudolph Hoyle, Jr. age 69 passed away
December 27, 2005 in Denton, TX.
Mr. Hoyle was born December 7, 1936 to David Rudolph
and Leona Mae Evans Hoyle Sr. He married Sandra Hoyle on April 29,
1979 in Fort Worth, TX. He worked as a printer for various print
shops.
Graveside services for Mr. Hoyle were held Friday,
December 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Newport Cemetery with Kern
Choate officiating under the direction of the White Family Funeral
Home.
Surviving relatives include: his daughters, Donna and Pam Hoyle, both
of Fort Worth, TX; sons, David Hoyle III and Dwayne Hoyle, both of
Fort Worth, TX, brother, Robert Hoyle, Bowie, TX; sisters Dorothy
Dickerson, Barbara Lawrence and Tina Schreiner, all of Fort Worth, TX,
and Carolyn Brawner of Weatherford, TX.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Hoyle in
January of 2005.

Clarence Joseph “Joe” Hoyt, age 76 of Muenster, TX
passed away December 23, 2005.
Mr. Hoyt was born November 28, 1929 in Independence, MO
to Clarence and Martha Jane Hoyt. Sometime after losing his first
wife, Micky, he married Carolyn Walterscheid on February 3, 1988. He
served thirty years in the US Air Force where he reached the grade of
Master Sergeant. He was a member of the First Christian Church in
Gainesville, TX.
Funeral services for Mr. Hoyt were held Tuesday,
December 27, 2005 at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Muenster, TX with
Rev. Mark Loewen officiating. Interment was at the Veteran’s area of
Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in
Muenster, TX.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Carolyn Hoyt,
Muenster, TX; one daughter, Debbie Larson, Topeka, KA; one son, Dennis
Hoyt, Booneville, VA; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and
one brother, David Metz, Independence, MO.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Micky; one
daughter, Charlotte; parents, Clarence and Martha Jane Hoyt; one
sister, and one brother.

Jim Lawler, age 79 of Granbury passed away December
23, 2005 in Granbury, TX.
Mr. Lawler was born December 31, 1925 in Montague
County to James Stanley and Fannie Reed Lawler. He served in the U.S.
Army and retired as a lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone. He was
a member of the Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 27, 2005
at the Wiley Funeral Home. Interment was at the Mountain Creek
Cemetery in Montague County near Saint Jo, TX.

Kenneth Lee Grace, age 73 of Bowie, TX passed away
December 28, 2005 in Bowie.
Mr. Grace was born April 26, 1932 in Rice, TX to
Hillard and Gladys Donaldson Grace. He married Melba June Easley on
August 2, 1957. He retired in 1991 after twenty-seven years at Texas
Instruments. He was a Mason with the Waxahachie Lodge #90.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Melba Grace,
Bowie, TX; one son, Garry Lee Grace, Lewisville, TX; two brothers,
Johnny Grace, Corsicana, TX and Lonnie Grace, Plano, TX; three
sisters, Mildred Prestage, Ennis, TX, Louise Havens, Rockwall, TX; and
numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister,
Judy White and one brother, Bobby Grace.
Fred Herman Fuller...
Fred Herman Fuller, 93 passed away Tuesday,
December 27, 2005 in Aransas Pass, Texas.
Services were 2:00 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church
of Bowie with Reverend Dick Hennings officiating under the direction
of the White Family Funeral Home.
Burial followed at Elmwood Cemetery.
Fred was born August 20, 1912 in Kingston, Oklahoma to
William H. and Mollie M. (Brannon) Fuller. He graduated from Bristow
High School, Oklahoma in 1934 and married Helen Margarett on March 30,
1935. He worked for Stanlin Oil Company as a welder and pipeline
inspector for twenty eight years until his retirement from the
company, then known as BP Corporation in 1964. He served as a deacon
of the First Baptist Church of Bowie and then Motley Hills Baptist
Church in Kerrville. He was a member of the Bowie Masonic Lodge #8789
and the Kerrville Lodge #697 and served as a Worthy Patron of the
Eastern Star. He loved to fish and hunt. He also enjoyed playing the
guitar and fiddle and square dancing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and
Mollie Fuller; brothers, Lloyd Fuller, Charlie Fuller, and Meredith
Fuller; sisters, Edith Fuller, Opal Astin and Pearl Jackson.
He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife,
Helen Margarett Fuller, Aransas Pass; daughter, Helen Catherine Lewis
and her husband, Kenneth of Kerrville; two sons, Fred H. Fuller Jr.
and his wife Jacquelyn of Aransas Pass, Texas and Robert L Fuller and
his wife, Martha of Bowie; grandchildren, Patty K. Chick and her
husband, Eddie of Waurika, Oklahoma, Susan R. Liley and her husband,
Robert of Kerrville, Phyllis G. Lackey of Center Point, Barton R.
Fuller and his wife, Carie of North Padre Island, Bryan L. Fuller of
Mayo Beach, Belize, Tracy L. Green and her husband, Gary of Bowie;

Mr. Hacker was born April 23, 1938 in Muenster, TX to Andrew
and Annie Sicking Hacker. He was a construction worker for the
railroad and worked with the Hacker Brothers Well Servicing Co.

Paul Jackson Brewer...
Paul Jackson Brewer, age 73 of Forestburg, TX
passed away December 28, 2005 at his residence in Forestburg, TX.
Mr. Brewer was born November 19, 1932 in Denver, TX to
Walter Randolph and Mary Frances Jackson Brewer. He married Billie
Louise Butler on April 5, 1955 in Gainesville, TX, renewing their
wedding vows on May 1, 2003 in Denison, TX. He was a long time truck
driver for Campbell 66 Express some twenty years retiring from
trucking after twenty years with the Teamster. He was a member of the
Forestburg Community since 1992. He was a Baptist, very involved in
the community serving as fire chief with the Forestburg Volunteer Fire
Department where he served until his health failed. He had a band
called the Texas Swingsters.
Funeral services for Mr. Brewer were held Saturday,
December 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Forestburg Baptist Church with
C.E. Cole officiating. Interment was at the Perryman Cemetery under
the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Saint Jo, TX.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Billie Louise
Brewer, Forestburg, TX; three daughters, Paula Earnhart and Billie
Gwen Beasley, both of Denison, TX; and Kim Williams, Whitesboro, TX;
four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers David
Brewer, Forestburg, TX and Keith Brewer, Denton, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a
granddaughter, Kristin Beasley.
