Raymond C. Bell...
Raymond C. Bell, 75, passed away Sunday, February 13, 2005 in Denton, TX.
He was born December 15, 1929 to R.E. and Josie Fox Bell in Montague, TX. He married Evelyn Annette Bowling on February 12, 1949 in Bowie, TX and recently celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. Raymond was a long time resident of Bowie and a member of the Denton Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and spending time with his family.
Funeral services for Mr. Bell were Wednesday, February 16, in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Collins officiating, under the direction of White Family Funeral Home.
Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Fulton, Gary Hachtel, Buck Lock, Jerry Clement, Jerry Richardson and Wayne Davis.
Survivors include: his wife, Annette Bell of Denton, TX; son Danny Bell and wife Debra of Denton; son Gary Bell of Runaway Bay; daughter, Cathy Atchison and husband Norman of Denton; five grandchildren, Michael Bell, Krystal Foster, Jeremey Richardson, Jennifer Richardson and Austin Bell; and two great grandchildren, Dakota Bell and Nolan Richardson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.E. and Josie Bell.

Cecil Bay (Sassy) Crenshaw...
Cecil Bay (Sassy) Crenshaw, 79, of Nocona, TX, passed away in Belcherville, TX on February 9, 2005.
He was born January 9, 1926 in Red River Station, TX to Lionel Preston Crenshaw and Cecil Miles Crenshaw. On July 26, 1943 he married Doris Rose Driver in Waurika, OK. He was a rancher, retired teacher, coach and banker. Mr. Crenshaw graduated from Nocona High School and Hardin College in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a member of the Church of Christ and former member of Nocona Lions Club. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Funeral services were Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ in Nocona with Rev. Dale Scott and Maxie Boren officiating. Jerry Wood Funeral Home directed the service.
Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jerry Reed, Bay Reed, Craig Beckham, Tommy Uselton, Joe Uselton, Jackie Boy Crenshaw, Gary Crenshaw and Billy Crenshaw.
Honorary pallbearers were Paul Lamar, Ben Hill, Phil Staley, Joe Staley, Roy C. Fitts, Don Reece, Charles Kidwell, Tommy Sparks, Don Sewell, Dusty Rhodes, Jack Cunningham, Adrian Hill, Gerald Russell, Hugh Phemister, Fred West and Martin

Survivors include: his wife, Doris Rose Crenshaw of Belcherville, TX; children, Shelah Sanderson and husband, Michael, Henrietta, TX, Cathy Goolsby and husband, Jimmy of Henrietta, TX and Lisa Crenshaw of Henrietta, TX; two sisters, Juanita Roberson and Bonnie Raby, both of Nocona, TX; four grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers Lee, Jack and Billy Joe Crenshaw.
Frances Margret (Frankie) Hanson...
Frances Margret (Frankie) Hanson, 92, of Nocona, TX, passed away in a Henrietta hospital on February 11, 2005.
She was born April 17, 1912 in Henrietta, TX to J.H. and Flora Conner Carver. On November 19, 1928 she married Jack Hanson in Montague County, TX. She was a homemaker and a seamstress for Hobies and worked in sales. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Funeral services were on Monday, February 14, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nolan Partridge officiating. Jerry Woods Funeral Home directed the service.
Burial followed in Nocona Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Terry Davis, Ron Hoover, Rick Terry, Mike Smith, D.L. Thompson and Delbert Perkins.
Survivors include: her children, Peggy Hoover and husband Sam of Henrietta, TX, Betty Byrnes and husband Darrell of Olney, TX and Patty Robertson and late husband, James of Henrietta, TX; two brothers, Ira Carver of Saint Jo, TX and Bill Carver of Holliday, TX.; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; two sisters, Robbie Carver and Vi Thompson; three brothers, Raymond, Bob and Keith Carver.
Annie Lou Throneberry...
Annie Lou Throneberry, 81, a thirty year resident of Bowie, TX, passed away February 13, 2005 in Bowie Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 23, 1923 in San Antonio, TX. She was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian faith.
Graveside services for Mrs. Throneberry were Wednesday, February 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Cumby Cemetery, Park Springs, TX with Rev. Ronnie Tucker officiating. Fry Funeral Home of Bowie directed the service.
Pallbearers were Harvey Throneberry, Orvell Throneberry, Melvin Money, Scott Throneberry, Michael Jones and Johnny Money.
Survivors include: one daughter, Dolores Johnson of Bowie, TX; sons Harmon Throneberry of Watauga, TX, Orvell Throneberry of Wilson, OK, and Harvey Throneberry of Bowie, TX; one sister, Joyce Schmidt of Casper, WY; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O.B. Throneberry on September 14, 1981.

Offie Lee Simmons, age 99 of Bowie, TX passed away February 8, 2005 at the Bellmire Healthcare Facility in Bowie.
Mrs. Simmons was born December 31, 1905 in Friendship, TX. She married Willie Ernest Simmons on March 3, 1928 in Vashti, TX. She was a homemaker and a very active member of Carter Lake Road Church of Christ.
Funeral services for Mrs. Simmons were held Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at the Carter Lake Church of Christ in Bowie, TX with Loyd Morris officiating. Services were under the direction of Fry Funeral Home of Bowie.
Burial followed at Bellevue Cemetery, Bellevue, TX.
Surviving relatives include: two daughters, Willie Dean Fuller, Bellevue, TX and Skeeter Tyson, Bellevue, TX; five grandchildren, Ronnie Fuller, San Antonio, TX, Tommy Fuller, Charles R. Tyson, and Billy Don Tyson, all of
Bellevue, TX and Bobby Dan Simmons, Arlington, TX; ten great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ernest Simmons, one son, Bobby Simmons, and two sisters, Deffa Stilwell and Agens

Charlotte (Boyd) Myers, age 81 of Franklin, TN passed away February 8, 2005 in Franklin, TN.
Mrs. Myers was born June 23, 1923 in Ringgold, TX. She was a resident of Tulsa, OK for more than forty years, but had moved to Franklin, TN to be with her daughter and son-in-law due to her illness. She was retired from Dillard’s Department Store in Tulsa after thirty-five years.
Funeral services for Mrs. Myers were held Friday, February 11, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN.
Committal Service for Mrs. Myers was held Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ringgold Cemetery under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Sharon and son-in-law Terry Samuel, Franklin, TN; three grandchildren, two great
grandchildren; and a dear niece Beverly Tomlinson, Bowie, TX.

Zelda O’Coma Miller, age 81, of Nocona, TX passed away February 7, 2005 in Nocona, TX.
Mrs. Miller was born January 30, 1924 in Tyler, TX to Roy McMillan. She married Jack C. Miller in 1941 in Tyler, TX. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Graveside services for Mrs. Miller were held Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nocona Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Brenda Perry, Dallas, TX; one son, Keith Miller, Nocona, TX; one brother, Jerald McMillan, Tyler, TX; four grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
