passed away June 26, 2005 in Nocona, TX.
Mrs. Brown was born April 11, 1928 in East Walnut, OK
to Jasper and Asenath Kleinenecht Young. She married H.E. (Brownie)
Brown and helped run the family restaurant “Brownie’s Cafe”. She was a
member of the Northside Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brown were held Tuesday, June
28, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Northside Baptist Church in Nocona, TX
with Rev. Don Hogan officiating. Services under the direction of Scott
Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: seven children, Martha
Edwards, Wichita Falls, TX, Daisy Kelley, Macalister, OK, Bill Salyer,
Frances Holsenbeck, Brownwood, TX, Troy Lewis Judd, Oklahoma City, OK,
Joanna Davidson, Nocona and Delores Lemons, Nocona, TX; 3 step-children,
Billy Brown, Nocona, TX, Beverly Ensey, Nocona, TX and Jo Witt, Dallas,
TX; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three
great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Patterson, IN, Patricia
Fitzwater, TX and Arnetta Ackerman, SC; and three brothers, Eugene
Young, Binger, OK, Bob Young, Velma, OK and Richard Kimbler, Cleburne,
TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Asenath Young;
her husband, H.E. (Brownie) Brown; three brothers, Drurey, Jasper and
William Young; and also one great-great grandchild.

Paul Hugh Duff, age 77, of Ringgold, TX
passed away June 20, 2005 in Bowie, TX.
Mr. Duff was born November 2, 1927 in Ringgold,
TX. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the V.F.W. Post 8789,
a past Post Commander and a past State Commander of Veterans of Foreign
Wars from 1995 to 1996. He was a cattle rancher.
Graveside services for Mr. Duff were held June 23, 2005
at 10:00 a.m. at the Ringgold Cemetery with Rev. Sandy Sanderson
officiating under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Melody (Reed)
Duff of Ringgold, TX; his son, Danny Paul Duff, three step-sons, James,
John and Phillip Mullens; three sisters, Martha Jedleka, Betty Carazino,
Marie Lemon; seven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He
was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Martha Duff.
Frank Kirk Hogan...
Frank Kirk Hogan, 88, of Saint Jo, TX,
passed away June 22, 2005 in Muenster, TX.
Mr. Hogan was born September 20, 1916 in Mallard,
TX to Spencer and Edna (McDonald) Hogan. On November 3, 1945 he married
Katie Alice Parsley. He was a member of the Baptist faith, an Army
veteran of WWII and worked as a linotpe operator for the Dallas Morning
News and the Amarillo Globe News.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 25, 2005 at
10:00 a.m. at Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville, TX with
Rev. Lamoyn Champ officiating. Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery,
Gainesville, TX under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were John Lee Hogan, Spencer Hogan, Mike
Hogan, Jason Hogan, Robert Hogan and James Hogan. Honorary pallbearers
were Tim Hogan and Charles Hogan.
Survivors include: his wife, Katie Hogan of Saint Jo,
TX; two sons, Tim Hogan and John Lee Hogan, both of Saint Jo, TX; one
daughter, Cheri Griffith of Saint Jo, TX; fifteen grandchildren;
twenty-eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one
brother, Jerry Hogan of Austin, TX; two sisters, Naomi Smith of Lubbock,
TX and Eula Grace “Baby” Cain of Muenster, TX.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; one son,
Daniel Hogan; four brothers; and two sisters.

John Clinton Hann, Jr., 60 passed away
Sunday, June 19, 2005 in Bowie, TX.
Mr. Hann was born October 26, 1944 in Clinton, OK, to
Leona and John Hann, Sr. He married Lynn Rene Darnell on May 24, 1967.
He worked as personnel manager for White’s Auto Store in Wichita Falls,
TX. He served as a medical technician in the Navy during the Vietnam War
and later as a surgical technologist in the Austin area.
Survivors include: his wife of 38 years, Rene; one son,
Clint of Lafayette, CO; one daughter, Hilarie of Pasadena, CA; one
sister, Ramona Bittmann of Wichita Falls, TX; three nephews; one niece;
and special friend, Marca Welsh.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no formal
service.

Walton Cain (Buster) Kindsfather, age 94 of
Nocona, TX passed away June 21, 2005.
Mr. Kindsfather was born February 26, 1911 in Buffalo
Springs, TX to Edward and Lillie May Underwood Kindsfather. He married
Donnie Mongomery on January 6, 1973 in Nocona, TX. He was a mechanic by
trade and a member of the Church of Brethren.
Graveside services for Mr. Kindsfather were held
Thursday, June 23, 2005 at at 2:00 p.m. at the Nocona Cemetery with Rev.
Tommy Lamascus officiating under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral
Home.
Surviving relatives include: one son, Leroy and his
wife Shirley Kindsfather, Nocona, TX; one daugher-in-law, Avia Brooks,
Nocona, TX; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one

Weaver, age 89, of Nocona, TX passed away June 24, 2005 in Nocona, TX.
Mr. Weaver was born in Montague County, TX on June 22,
1916 to Cordes and Julie Underwood Weaver. He married Arlie Alice Ensey
on August 6, 1960. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church and was
an oil field pumper and farmer.
Funeral services for Mr. Weaver were held Sunday,
June 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona, TX
with Rev. Clark Farley and Rev. Buddy Lee officiating. Interment was at
the Starkey Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born November 10, 1945 in Spanish Fort,
TX to William Chester and Freda Mae Carpenter Brown. He married Sharon
Lynn Westbrook on February 4, 1986 in Marietta, OK. He was a service
station operator and a member of the First Baptist Church in Nocona. He
served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion serving
as Past Chaplain.
Funeral services for Mr. Brown were held Tuesday, June 28, 2005 at 11:00
a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Nocona, TX with Rev. Dave Woodbury
officiating. Interment was at the Callisburg Cemetery under the
direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Sharon

away June 23, 2005 in the Baylor Specialty Hospital in Euless, TX.
Mr. Morgan was born September 13, 1942 in Nocona,
TX to James Cyril and Bonnie Clay Morgan. He married Sandra Kay Gee and
was a truck driver for Pavestone.
Graveside services for Mr. Morgan were held
Sunday, June 26, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. at Nocona Cemetery with Dale Scott
officiating under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Sandra Morgan,
Euless, TX; his mother, Bonnie Clay Morgan of Nocona, TX; one son, Bryan
Morgan and Tiffany McKeever, Fort Worth, TX, one daughter, Kimberly and

Harmon, age 79, of Nocona, TX passed away June 24, 2005 in the United
Regional Health Care System in Wichita Falls, TX.
Mrs. Harmon was born July 1, 1925 in Weslaco, TX to
Robert Lee and Celia Ann Wright Standley. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church, the Nocona Red Hat Club, the Lakona Club and the Cancer
Survivors of Nocona. She worked for Prairie Valley School for many
years, and she cooked for the Meals on Wheels. She was an assistant to
the Activities Director at Horizon Manor Nursing Home.
Funeral services for Mrs. Harmon were held Sunday, June
26, 2005 at 2:30 p.m at the First Baptist Church.in Nocona, TX.
Surviving relatives include: two sisters, Flora Larson
and Imogene Lee, both of Oregon; three brothers, Johnny and Robert
Standley, both of Arkansas and Vernon Standley, California; four
grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews who loved her very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and
Celia Standley; two sisters, Helen Glass and Edith Frazier; her first
husband, Troy Glass; one daughter, Kathleen Lee; and her second husband,
B. Harmon.
Pallbearers included: James Brasher, Randy Glass, Andy
Sappington, Steve Brown, Kenneth Arnold, Larry Hobbs and Bennie Gamez.
