Cemetery with Rev. Larry Jacobs officiating. Scott Morris Funeral Home
of Nocona directed the service.
Survivors include: his mother, Jennifer Johnson of Arlington, TX;
father, Adrian Tate of Cedar Hill, TX; sister, Faith Johnson of Grand
Prairie, TX; brother, Dalen Johnson of Grand Prairie, TX; grandparents,
Martha Johnson of Arlington, TX and Renonia Tate of Cedar Hill, TX; and
great grandmother, Robbie Johnson of Saint Jo, TX.
Edward Anthony Hacker...
Edward Anthony Hacker, age 71 of Myra, TX passed away September 5,
2005 in Denton, TX.
Mr. Hacker was born February 12, 1934 in Tishomingo, OK to Andrew and
Annie Sicking Hacker. He lived most of his life in Muenster and Myra,
and was a member of the Sacred Heart Parish. He worked for his Uncle
Louis Sicking hauling milk and then for A.M.P.I. Later, he was self
employed operating a dairy. He then worked for Felderhoff Brothers in
the oil field with his last job working with his brothers at Hacker
Brothers Well Service.
Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Hacker was held Monday, September 5,
2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church in Muenster, TX with Rev.
John Ohner, O.S.A. celebrating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery
under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster, TX.
Surviving relatives include: six daughters, Tressie Lewis and La Donna
Hacker, both of Saint Jo, TX, Jewel Stassord, Whitesboro, TX, Melissa
Taylor, Collinsville, TX, Ronda Bailey, Harrison, LA and Kathy Norman,
Bellview; three sons, Donald Hacker, Del Carmen Campeche, Mexico, Basil
Hacker, Midland, TX and Tony Hacker, Jr. Rosston, TX; six brothers, Jim
Hacker, and Walter Hacker, Myra, TX, Freddie Hacker, Muenster, TX,
Robert Hacker, Gainesville, TX, Louis Hacker, Whitesboro, TX and Kenneth
Hacker, Saint Jo, TX; and one sister, Agnes Brandon, Rosston, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Annie Hacker; one
sister, Anna Margaret Tempel; and three brothers, Paul, John and Henry
Hacker.
Thomas Lee Swirczynski...
Thomas Lee Swirczynski, 58, of Muenster, TX, passed away August 29,
2005 at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, TX.
He was born April 11, 1947 in Muenster, TX to Raymond Louis & Alta
Margaret Swirczynski. On September 9, 1967 he married Paulette Endres at
Sacred Heart Church. Mr. Swirczynski served in the U.S. Air Force in
Vietnam. He had a backhoe business and later became a full-time rural
mail carrier. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church,
serving in several positions, member of the school board, volunteer
fireman and a member of the VFW. He was very active in various community
organizations.
Services were Thursday, September 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart
Church in Muenster with Father Kyle Walterscheid officiating. McCoy
Funeral Home of Muenster directed the service.
Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Paulette Swirczynski of Muenster, TX; two
sons, Glen Ray Swirczynski of Forney, TX and Paul Thomas Swircynski of
Plano, TX; one grandson, Seth Thomas Swirczynski; three sisters; and two
brothers; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Jason Endres, Craig Bayer, Jerry Knauf, Clinton Endres,
John Yosten, Karl Klement and Tom Hartman.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sacred Heart Trust Fund.

Lavora Jean Ball, 72, of Nocona, TX, passed away September 1, 2005
in Nocona.
She was born December 4, 1932 in Keifer, OK to Delbert Eugene and
Gweneth Lavora Oliver Pope.
Mrs. Ball was a member of the First Baptist Church and retired from
Armstrongs.
Funeral services for Mrs. Ball were Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 2:00
p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Nocona with Rev. Dave Woodbury
officiating. Scott Morris Funeral Home of Nocona directed the service.
Survivors include: her husband, Ray Walker Sr. of Nocona, TX; son Barney
Ball of Nocona, TX; three grandchildren, Heather Ball, Robin & Christie
Walker and Sherry & Chad Brown; four great grandchildren, Katelynn
Walker, Ali Walker, Raylee Brown and Karlee Brown; one sister, Betty
Leonard of Nocona, TX; and two brothers, Dale Pope of Prattville, AL and
Joe Pope of Scotland, TX.

Elinor Susanna Wiesman, age 96 of Muenster, TX passed away September
4, 2005 at the HCR Manor Care in Fort Worth, TX.
Mrs. Wiesman was born May 24, 1909 in Muenster, TX to Ignacius and
Bernardine Trachta Schoech. She married Alois Wiesman January 6, 1930 in
Muenster, TX. She attended Sacred Heart Schools, was a member of the
Sacred Heart Parish and Saint Anne’s Society.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 10:00
a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with John Ohner, O.S.A. officiating.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral
Home in Muenster, TX.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Joyce and Edward Guthrie,
Fort Worth, TX, Kenneth Joseph and Joyce Wiesman, Fredricksburg, TX, and
James Glenn and Martha Wiesman, Graham, TX; three grandchildren; five
great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; several cousins,
nieces and nephews; sisters, Regina Wolf and Margaret Cler, both of
Muenster, TX and Harriett Yosten, Fort Worth, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alois Wiesman; two sisters,
Pauline Lago and Marie Walterscheid and one brother, Andrew Schoech.

Beasley, Herb Beasley and Robert Beasley.

Joseph Lyle Desmuke, age 62 of Bonham, TX passed away September 3,
2005 in Bonham, TX.
Mr. Desmuke was born in Fort Worth, TX on April 26, 1943 to Jack G. and
Mary L. Wilkerson Desmuke. He attended school in Fort Worth, TX. He
served two tours in the U.S. Navy in the Tonkin Gulf, two years of which
were on the USS Kittyhawk. He was a mechanic and a member fo the CB
clubs in Fort Worth, TX.
A mermorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements
under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Saint Jo, TX.
Surviving relatives include: one brother, Jack G and wife Kim Desmuke,
Forestburg, TX; and one nephew, Ian Desmuke, Forestburg, TX. Louise
Rollins...
Louise Rollins, 95, of Sunset, TX, passed away August 29, 2005 at
Dallas, TX.
She was born January 27, 1910 in Tyler, TX to Charles T. & Adelle
Wilkinson. She married James Aubert Rollins on May 24, 1940 in Mt.
Pleasant, TX. Mrs. Rollins was a postmaster from 1968 to 1991. She was a
member of the Methodist Church of Sunset and taught Sunday School.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2005 at 10:00 am. at
Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. Services under the
direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
Survivors include: one son, Foy Rollins, Dallas, TX; one brother, Toby
Wilkinson, Florissant, CO; two grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren.
Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and one
son, Fred L. White. |
