James Wayne Lemons, age 56 of Nocona, TX
passed away August 27, 2005 in Wichita Falls, TX.
Mr. Lemons was born September 20. 1948 in Bowie, TX to
Virgil G. and Juanita Meyers Lemons. He married Wanda Sue Weaver
September 14, 1984 in Nocona, TX. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist
Church and the Oak Shores Volunteer Fire Department. He was a farmer and
a rancher.
Funeral services for Mr. Lemons were held Tuesday,
August 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel
with Jerry Vaughn officiating. Interment was at Eagle Point Cemetery in
Montague County under the direction of the Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Sue Lemons,
Nocona, TX; his children, Brenda Martin, Stinnett, TX, Dale Lemons,
Nocona, TX, Micheal Duke, Nocona, TX, Lori Harmon, Callisburg, TX,
Heather Smallwood, Gainesville, TX and Jimmy Lemons, Nocona, TX; ten
grandchildren; one brother, Glenn Lemons, Nocona, TX; and one aunt,
Martha Hudson, Borger, TX.
Pallbearers included: Dennis Harmon, Toby Martin, David
Duke, Nick Eischeid, Mike Lemons and Ricky Lemons.
Memorials may be made the the Prairie Valley
Scholarship Fund.
Louise Rollins...
Louise Rollins, 95, of Sunset, TX, passed
away August 29, 2005 at Dallas, TX.
She was born January 27, 1910 in Tyler, TX to Charles
T. & Adelle Wilkinson. She married James Aubert Rollins on May 24, 1940
in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Mrs. Rollins was a postmaster from 1968 to 1991.
She was a member of the Methodist Church of Sunset and taught Sunday
School.
Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2005 at
10:00 am. at Sunset Cemetery with Rev. Bob Wilson officiating. Services
under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home of Bowie, TX.
Survivors include: one son, Foy Rollins, Dallas, TX;
one brother, Toby Wilkinson, Florissant, CO; two grandchildren; and two
great grandchildren.
Mrs. Rollins was preceded in death by her parents; her
husband and one son, Fred L. White.
Margaret I. Case...
Margaret I. Case, 82, of Nocona Hills, TX
passed away August 26, 2005 at her residence.
Mrs. Case was born September 3, 1923 in Oklahoma City,
OK to Gordon and Edna Spencer Brewer. She was a member of the Shepherd
Hills Baptist Church, Deacoess Ladies Auxiliary in Oklahoma City and
worked as a bookkeeper.
Funeral services were Monday, August 29, 2005 at 2:00
p.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Baptist Church with Rev. Walter Haynie
officiating. Scott Morris Funeral Home directed the service.
Survivors include: her husband, Edwin Lee Case;
daughter Janice Payton of Nocona, TX; three grandchildren; four great
grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church
of your choice in Margaret’s name.
Gayla LaVelle Boudreaux Wolfe...
Gayla LaVelle Boudreaux, 48, died August
28th in Wichita Falls, TX at the Cedar Falls Health Care Center, after a
10 year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Memorial service will be
at a later date.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bob Boudreaux.
Gayla is survived by her husband, Harold Don Wolfe; children, Jeanetta
Wolf, JoEllen Wolfe and D.J. Wolfe of Wichita Falls; mother LaVelle
Boudreaux of Bowie, TX; sister, Lynetta Boudreaux Slaton of Bowie, TX;
brother, Robert Boudreaux of Wichita Falls, TX; and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be
made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Paid publication
Ina Bell Hale...
Ina Bell Hale, age 69 of Gainesville, TX
passed away August 22, 2005 in Gainesville, TX.
Mrs. Hale was born September 25, 1935 in Saint Jo, TX
to James Lonnie and Trellis Lara (Pete) Meroney Sidwell. She married
Billly C. Hale, Sr. on July 25, 1952 in Colbert, OK. She attended Saint
Jo High School, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Saint Jo,
TX, Steadfast Sunday School Class and a volunteer for the Saint Jo Meals
on Wheels. She was retired from the Nocona Boot Company.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hale were held Friday, August
26, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Saint Jo, TX. with
Rev. Keith Rogers officiating. Interment was at Mountain Park Cemetery
under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: her children, Clay Hale,
Andrews, TX, Ruth Hale, Denton, TX, Joel Hale, Saint Jo, TX, Sandy
Samuels, Huntsville, AR, Tommy Hale, Andrews, TX and Ronny Hale, Saint
Jo, TX; twenty-two grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister,
Karen Potts, Fort Worth, TX; and one brother, Lonnie Sidwell,
Gainesville, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband on February
23, 1978; and her parents, James and Pete Sidwell.
