Walter H. Husfeld...
Walter H. Husfeld, 75, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in
Wichita Falls, Texas.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Lutheran
Church with Reverend Belvin Brummett officiating. Arrangements
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home. Burial followed at St.
Peter Lutheran Cemetery.

Lutheran Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 133, Bowie, Texas 76230.
Walter was born April 17, 1931 at his family home in Lindale/Byrd
Hollow area near Bowie, Texas to Herman George and Babette Johanna
(Roth) Husfeld. He married Rose Marie Unger on August 15, 1954 at
St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bowie. He served his country in the
United States Army during the Korean War, served his community as
Director of the Federal Land Bank and Trustee of Bowie Independent
School District. He was an oil field pumper, commercial loan officer
for First National Bank for eight years and, along with his wife,
was owner
of Husfeld Oil Company. He farmed and ranched his entire life in the
Salona area, some of which his family settled in 1875. He was a
life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where he was baptized,
confirmed, and married.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Babette Husfeld.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rose Marie Husfeld; sons,
Earl Husfeld and his wife, Mary of Grand Prairie and Brent Husfeld
of Bowie; daughter, Belinda Anderson and her husband, Arn of Bowie;
grandchildren, Keelan, Carnan, Delanie, and Bailey Anderson, and
Laura and Anna Husfeld; great-grandson, Logan Husfeld; brother,
Melvin Husfeld of Bowie; sisters, Evalyn Husfeld of Bowie and
Margaret Reinisch and her husband, Gerhard of Oklaunion, Texas.
Pallbearers were Donald Ray Unger, Gerald Hammer, Waldo Roth, Scott
Wolsey, Bob Aune, and Delbert Husfeld.

Truebenbach...
Clifford Frank Truebenbach, 63, of Muenster, TX passed away on
August 15, 2006 in Gainesville, Texas.
He was born July 18, 1943 in Muenster to Andrew and Margaret
Stoffels Truebenbach. He lived all of his life on a farm near
Muenster. He enjoyed tending his livestock. He was a member of
Sacred Heart Parish.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, August 18, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
at Sacred Heart Church. Reverend John Ohner, OSA celebrated the
mass. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction
of McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Survivors are: daughter, Vicki Polson of Mansfield; sons, Floyd
Truebenbach of Muenster and Charles Truebenbach of Garland;
brothers, Giles Truebenbach of Muenster and Andy Truebenbach of
Gainesville; sisters, Jane Fleitman of Gainesville, Celine Bartel of
Muenster and Laurie Gould of Denton; and four grandchildren.
Clifford was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Truebenbach;
parents, Andrew and Margaret Truebenbach; and brother, Allen
Truebenbach.
Martha M. Reaves...
Martha M. Reaves, 72 of Bowie, Texas passed away on August 19, 2006
in Fort Worth, Texas.
She was born March 5, 1934 in Forestburg, Texas to Daniel and
Frankie Johnson. Martha had been a resident of Bowie and Sunset area
most of her life. She was a greeter at Wal-Mart and was a member of
New Hope Baptist Church.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m.
at the Sunset Cemetery, Sunset Texas, with Reverend Dwayne Lamberson
officiating. Services were under the direction of Heritage Family
Funeral Home, Bowie, Texas.
Survivors are: sons, Danny Reaves of Saint Jo, Texas, Jackie Reaves
of Bowie, Texas, Randy Reaves of Bowie, Texas and Jody Reaves of
Bowie, Texas; daughter, Brenda Dawkins of Bowie, Texas; brother,
Chester E. Johnson of Texhoma, OK.; fourteen grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Reaves; parents,
Daniel and Frankie Johnson; brothers, Jack Johnson and James
Johnson; sisters, Edith Massey, Ruth Nelson, Mildred Strickland, and
Olivia Yoakum; and one grandson.

We would like to thank everyone who came by, sent flowers, food and
cards to help celebrate the life of Else B. Gamblin. Words can never
express our heartfelt gratitude at the kindness that was displayed
during this time of sorrow.
An eteranl thank you to Dr. McCaig and the employees of Bellmire
Nursing Home for the care and compassion shown to our mother and
grandmother while she was there.
A special thank you to the wonderful people at Hospice for their
extra care and help during her last weeks.
Thank you to Brother Larry Kennedy for the service, to Michelle
Cassetty for the beautiful songs and to the ladies at Bellevue
Baptist Church for the wonderful meal. Thank you to Coy and Jennifer
White for all that you did to make the service a beautiful one.
