Thank You From the Pokey Hewitt Family
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Pokey’s family members, Church family, friends and caregivers that provided her with love, support, visits, assistance and TLC during her stay in the nursing home. We would also like to take this time to express our appreciation for the care Dr. Len Dingler and all the staff at Horizon Manor Nursing Home provided her.
We want to thank each of you for the prayers, visits, calls, cards and flowers during this time of loss. So many people assisted with her service and made it easier on the family and we would like to thank you and all the people that participated in her memorial service and made it so special. We want to thank Howard Morris and Helen Ferguson for treating our loved one with such dignity and care. We’d also like to thank them for assisting in organizing, coordinating and making the arrangements.
We want to thank Martha Johnson for styling her hair in the fashion that Pokey loved. The floral arrangement was beautiful and designed by Connie Joe Gilleland of Nocona Country Florist which was greatly appreciated. Steve Williams and Bro. Roland Hodge brought such comfort to the family with their memories and kind words. We greatly appreciated the personal remarks Steve Williams shared during the service which honored Pokey. The eulogy and message Bro. Roland Hodge supplied that recalled such commendation and praise was very comforting and appreciated. It was a blessing to know that the First Baptist Church was always there for her.
Thank you to the pallbearers that Pokey carefully selected and thought so much of. You were all truly special and dear to Pokey.
We want to thank Ronda Elliot and the Eastern Star #62 for providing the wonderful and unique   ceremony at the graveside.
We will never forget each act of kindness shown to our family during this time and nothing went unnoticed. Everyone went beyond our expectations and we feel very blessed and grateful.
