Norma Lee Pierce, 75 of Bowie, Texas passed away August 30, 2006 in Bowie, Texas.
She was born July 12, 1936 in Red Ash, Virginia. She was a Baptist. Services were Saturday, September 2, 2006 at Heritage Family Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Tucker officiated. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Heritage Family Funeral Home, Bowie, TX.
Norma is survived by sons, David & Gary Pierce of Bowie, Texas and sister, Delores Riggs of Mesquite, and two grandchildren. 

Marvin “Buddy” Hubbard...
Marvin “Buddy” Hubbard, 47, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2006, in Bowie, Texas.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Jeremy Strain officiating. Burial followed in Briar Creek Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home. The family received friends Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Buddy was born February 24, 1959 in Colorado City, Texas. He was a Truck Driver and married Judy Phariss on March 11, 1988. He enjoyed going to auctions, antique sales and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Hubbard of Bowie; one son, Michael Hubbard of Dallas; parents, Sonny and Marci Hubbard; three step sons, Gary, James and Danny Fatheree all of Bowie; six grandchildren; three sisters, Karen McGill and husband, Deacon; Connie McDaniel and husband, Wes; Jessie Sparks and husband, Tony; one brother, Chipper Hubbard and wife Tonya all of Colorado City; and numerous neices and nephews.

G.W. Wood...
G.W. Wood, 48, a Social Worker, passed away September 3, 2006.
An open visitation took place on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at White Family Funeral Home with graveside services were at 2:00 p.m. at Vashti Cemetery in Vashti, Texas.
Survivors include companion Tomas Flores; sister, Sheri Foster of Montague; brothers, Bobby Wood of Richardson and Allen Wood of Bowie.

Florence Valliere...
Graveside services for Florence Valliere, 88 of Muenster are scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 6th at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Muenster. Rev. Pat Murphy officiated. Services were directed by McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster. Florence died at 6:25 AM Monday, September 4, 2006 at the Muenster Hospital. A Rosary service was at the funeral home at 7:00 PM Tuesday.
Florence was born March 8, 1918 in Coushatta, Louisiana. She married Donald William Valliere on June 13, 1940 in Marshall, Texas. They lived most of their lives in Shreveport, Louisiana. 
Florence was a lovely lady, a great family person and a friend to anyone that knew her.
Survivors include a son, Tom and wife Laurie Valliere of Muenster; a brother, five grandchildren, Michael, one great grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald W. Valliere in March 1982, a daughter Donna Lou Horn, and parents, Andrew Fittz and Marvin & Allie Horn.
Honorary Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Chris and Natalie Valliere and Don Horn, and great grandchild, Will Horn.
The family requests memorials be made to: Boy Scouts of America or Sacred Heart Youth Ministry or Muenster Public Library.

Virginia Lee Harrington...
Virginia Lee Harrington, 71, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2006 in Bowie. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Bowie with Ricky Jonas officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Newport Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 til' 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Friends of the Library, c/o Bowie Public Library, 301 Walnut, Bowie, Texas 76230.
Virginia was born March 20, 1935 in Olney, Texas to Charlie Marion and Lora Lee (Chaney) Ford. She worked as a seamstress for the Howard Wolf Dress Factory for twenty years. She retired from the Bowie Public Library after working for numerous years. She loved cooking for family get-togethers and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and a sister.
She is survived by her son, Lee Harrington and his wife, Pam of Bowie; grandchildren, Angie Dow and her husband, Eric of Justin, Cody Wadsworth and his wife, LeAnne of Decatur, and Ray Dunn and his wife, Brandy of Pottsboro; and seven great-grandchildren. 
Pallbearers: Steve Shaw, Gary Richardson, Kevin Jonas, Jake Bridgewater, Gary Hachtel, Larry Wallace
