Richard Weldon Carminati... 
Richard Weldon Carminati, 83, passed away April 10, 2007 in Bowie, TX.
He was born October 14, 1923 in Montague, TX to Peter and Tressa (Rotta) Carminati. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and was an instructor at Sheppard Air Force Base. He also taught shcool in Nocona and had a passion for farming/ranching.
Mass of Christian Burial was on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Saint Williams Catholic Church in Montague with Father Stephen Berg, celebrant. Burial followed at Montague Catholic Cemetery. Arrangments were entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Survivors include: his wife of 51 years, Euceba Carminati; two sons, Devon Carminati and Richard Carminati, Jr., of Montague, TX; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Anita Kilcrease.

Beatrice Mary Hess... 
Beatrice Mary Hess, 84, of Muenster, TX, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 in Muenster.
She was born August 31, 1922 in Gainesville, TX to Frank and Catherine Hundt Rauschuber. On April 15, 1948, she married Joseph Frank Hess in Valley View. They operated a dairy farm for 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother and friend and a member of Sacred Heart Church.
Mass of Christian Burial was on Monday, April 16, 2007 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Ken Robinson celebrating mass. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Survivors include: sons, Charles Hess of Corinth, TX and Kevin Hess of Muenster, TX; sister, Trudy Felderhoff of Muenster, TX; brother, Marvin Rauschuber of Valley View, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one brother. 
Pallbearers were Frankie Rauschuber, Sam Hess, Nick Hess, Leroy Schmidlkofer, Chad Bayer and Steven Bartush.

Velva Jewel Baggett... 
Velva Jewel Baggett, 96, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 in Bowie, TX.
She was born August 26, 1910 in Montague, TX to G.C. and Myrtle Lewis (Bryant) Guilliams. She was a member of the Baptist faith. On March 22, 1928 she married Lee Hamilton in Montague, TX. Jewel was a homemaker and devoted her life to serving the Lord.
Funeral services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Drawing Room of the White Family Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Cox officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
Survivors include: her son, Jerry Baggett of Haskell, TX; two daughters, Sarah Long of Wichita Falls, TX and Wilma Hamilton of Montague, TX; eleven grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.

Arnold Matthew Muller... 
Arnold Matthew Muller, 91, of Muenster, TX, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 in Muenster.
He was born October 20, 1915 northwest of Muenster. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, then returned to Muenster and worked in the oil field. On July 16, 1960, he married Theresa Mae Pels in Sacred Heart Church.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Kyle Watlerscheid and Rev. Ken Robinson celebrating the mass. Burial followed in Sacred Heart Cemetery, under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Muenster.
Survivors include: daughter, Sherri Guillot of Dallas, TX; son, David Muller of Muenster, TX; three grandchilden; three sisters, “Jake” Schilling and Juanita Knabe, both of Muenster, TX and Jeanette Hellinger of Lindsay, TX; and two brothers, Donald Muller of Denton, TX and Clyde Muller of Bedford, TX.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Theresa Mae; parents; one daughter; and three sisters.
Pallbearers were Matt Muller, Bob Hanson, John Bartush, Sr., John Bartush, Jr., Doug Martin and Kelly Bayer. 

A. J. Godwin...
A. J. Godwin, 76, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 in Nocona, TX.
He was born May 24, 1930 in Montague County TX to Abner H. Godwin and Jessie Johns. On Oct. 2, 1954 he married Geneva (Mickey) Sain in Nocona, TX. He was a member of the U.S. Army (Korean War) and later became a Golf Course Assistant - Superintendent. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Funeral Services were April 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel in Nocona, TX. Reverend Dave Woodbury officiated. Burial followed at Nocona Cemetery, under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home of Nocona.
Survivors include: his son Alan Godwin of Nocon;a and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Rusty Henley, Mark Linn, Terry Newland, Shawn Jones, George Hagermier and Ray Walker.
